Argentinian Football Team Apologises
Some information about this site
This site was made for fans of the English and Spanish National Football Teams, along with everyone everywhere who values fair play and decent behaviour in football.
It is a light-hearted satire of the Argentinian National Football Team, not directed the country of Argentina or her people.
Should you notice any similarity between the AI picture of the woman in the video and a real, living person, please note that no offence is intended to the latter.
The lady concerned is not part of the satire, and the image was created purely for comic effect.
Similarly, no offence is intended to the memory of Eva Peron, Argentina's national heroine.
Anyone who wishes to reproduce the video and/or text is welcome to do so, as long as the message above is included in any publication.
Whilst the author used artificial intelligence to create the video and the song, the text and song lyrics are entirely a product of his own human stupidity.
Those with a sharp eye and a good memory for history will realise that the Argentinian National Football Team's crest shown in front of the woman displays the number of World Cups that the team won without, er, divine intervention.
The author hopes that the site will promote fair play and camaraderie in football, as demonstrated by the France and England teams during the Bronze Medal Final.
This was not only a great game of football, with 10 goals, and a nail-biting finish for England.
The match was also played with exemplary good sportsmanship and camaraderie.
Even for the non-religious author, the sight of English and French players praying together at the end of the match was heartwarming.
Congratulations are due to the French players for their astonishing comeback, as are commiserations for their eventual loss.
The author hopes the 2026 Bronze Medal Final between France and England will serve as a model of great sport and great sportsmanship for future generations of footballers.
